Slavic methology character redesign

This character redesign project reinterprets figures from Slavic mythology through a modern visual and conceptual approach while preserving the essence of the original folklore. The project includes redesigned versions of Baba Yaga, Vodyanoy, Leshy, Kikimora, Domovoy, and Sirin, transforming traditional mythical beings into contemporary character designs that reflect psychological, environmental, and emotional themes. Inspired by dark fantasy, folklore symbolism, and surreal visual aesthetics, each character explores the relationship between humans, nature, fear, and spirituality. The redesigns aim to make Slavic mythology more visually engaging and relevant to modern audiences while maintaining the mysterious and haunting atmosphere that defines the original legends.
