Nature keeps its horrors well hidden.
This artwork draws inspiration from Slavic folklore and the ancient horrors believed to dwell within untouched forests. Dominated by deep greens and muted yellow tones, the atmosphere reflects the overwhelming presence of nature: dense, alive, and quietly ominous.
LESHY — Леший

Leshy is portrayed as a spirit bound to the forest itself, its body fused with roots, bark, and twisted branches as if the trees have claimed it for centuries. Silent and motionless among the woods, it begins to tear itself free the moment it senses someone trying to cut down the forest.
The cracking of wood and strained roots reflects both rage and desperation, as though the forest is fighting to protect its own life through the creature attached to it.
SIRIN — Сирин

Sirin is portrayed gliding down toward a cliff by the sea beneath a cloudy sky, where soft light breaks through the overcast atmosphere.
Her presence appears calm yet eerie, blending with the cold atmosphere of the ocean and the emptiness surrounding the cliffs. The scene reflects the haunting beauty often tied to her legend, where sorrow and temptation exist side by side.
KOSCHEI

Koschei is depicted soaring through a violent whirlwind while clutching a kidnapped girl tightly in his grasp. His body appears skeletal and skinless, made entirely of exposed bones twisted into a thin, unnatural form.
With a face frozen in a silent scream, he blends into the storm around him like a living corpse carried by the wind itself. The swirling air and dark clouds intensify his terrifying presence, turning him into something that feels less human and more like an ancient curse unleashed from forgotten folklore.
BABA YAGA — Баба-Яга

Baba Yaga is portrayed fleeing through the forest while tightly gripping the hair of a kidnapped girl, dragging her deeper into the wilderness. Her sharp posture and frantic movement contrast against the stillness of the trees, making her presence feel sudden and disturbing.
Surrounded by tangled roots, damp earth, and dim forest light, the scene captures the fear and chaos often found in old Slavic folktales.
RUSALKA — Русалка

Rusalka is depicted beneath dark water, smiling softly while holding the skull of one of her victims. Seaweed grows through the empty cracks and surrounds her like drifting strands carried by the current.
Beneath her feet lie countless more skulls hidden in the depths, half-buried among rocks and underwater plants. The calm expression on her face contrasts with the quiet horror surrounding her, creating an unsettling scene where beauty and death exist together in silence.
KIKIMORA — кикимора

Kikimora is shown hiding inside a dark attic, peering down through the narrow opening above the stairs while someone below points a flashlight toward her. The light cuts through the dusty darkness, revealing her unsettling expression for only a brief moment.
Surrounded by old wood, shadows, and cramped space, the scene creates the feeling of discovering something that was never meant to be found inside the house.
