C 4–6 September, the Cosmoscow fair will take place, which recently unveiled its visual identity—"From Screenshot to Print.» This identity was developed by the Omsky design studio, drawing inspiration from the work of Igor Samolet.
The theme reflects how almost every event today first appears on a smartphone screen and then quickly dissolves into information noise. The project team decided to halt this moment and collect an archive of personal, spontaneous encounters with the fair, transforming digital images into tangible forms.

The artist’s choice is no accident: this spring, Igor Samolet was awarded the title of «Artist of the Year» by the organizers of Cosmoscow. He spent many years working with screenshots and digital images, and now he documents random, everyday episodes on a receipt tape using an instant camera. This shift from digital reality to imperfect physical prints has become the foundation of the fair’s visual language.
Another element of the brand identity is the ordinary stone. In Igor Samolet’s interpretation, it symbolizes a presence that does nothing intentionally but changes the space around it simply by existing. For the artist, the stone is neutral—yet impossible to overlook.
