For this image promo presenting a volunteer mentorship program, the main challenge was to introduce the initiative as both an ad and an inspiring video within 2.5 minutes. Working with an existing raccoon mascot, I needed to keep the strict brand guidelines and palette intact while appealing to kids, parents, and sponsors. I built a coming-of-age story around the mascot—acting as an older brother and mentor—using fog as a universal metaphor for childhood uncertainty. Building on the client’s concept and initial layout, I rewrote the script, handled the frame-by-frame animation, and designed the sound. The video is now used on the organization’s resources, demonstrating my ability to respect existing brand canons while shaping material to connect with diverse audiences.

This short film brings together two distinct academic exercises into a continuous narrative. The task required a dynamic study with active camera angles and morphing, followed by a walk cycle executed across five different techniques. To tie everything together, I followed a protagonist struggling through the universal challenge of getting out of bed. As they move through the house, a beam of light from the window acts as a natural bridge between styles — shifting effortlessly from a puppet animation to pencil sketch, 3D, digital 2D, and collage. The project highlights how technical constraints can be woven into an engaging, fluid story.

Created as a collaborative short film, this project explores what happens when a long-awaited New Year’s kitten has to be returned due to a mother’s allergy. Since each of the three team members had a distinct artistic background, our main challenge was finding a comfortable creative and visual compromise. I took charge of clean-up animation, contributed to the animatic, and shaped the audio landscape. The resulting film expanded to over four minutes and was selected for the university’s official showcase (HSE Animation Highlights), reflecting my capability to collaborate, resolve creative differences, and bring a complex project to a polished finish.
