Unite is a series of works with portraits of the people who were in charge of the Soviet project. These people with professions like a doctor, a work hero, a pilot, a professor, a teacher, are all friends and acquaintances of my family. During the transition from the Soviet system to Russia ' s new political system, this group of people suffered greatly in social and political terms. Many have become social outcasts. The work is done in such a way that, when viewed at the front, the image is «assembly» and you can see the features of the face, and when you look at the work at an angle, the portrait literally falls into fragments, turning into an abstract or cubistic mess.
In the series «Effect of Sail», Vladimir touches on the Moscow events of 1993, which became the starting point for the history of Russia’s modern political order. It is in this, until the end of the illegitimacy and unspoken sequence of events — a three-day bloody drama on the streets of the city and the adoption of the new Constitution — that answers the fundamental questions of our time.

The «Light» series depicts different types of light source that change over time. First, these are ordinary kitchen light bulbs, then paphos chandeliers and lights from the Moscow metropolitan, as well as theatres, art cultures, which are the official presentation of power that inspires power, beauty, greatness. And the third species is different torthers, lights from the IKEA store, as a symbol of globalism. On the basis of these three types of light sources, it is possible to observe the change of ages and the capacity of each light source.

Sasha was born and raised in the small town of Pogar of the Polesier region, which is located «in the forest» of four modern states. In the region’s centuries-old history, the same land has experienced different governments and divisions, but nature does not recognize human boundaries. The forests of Polesia do not care about whose territory they are located — they simply exist.

«Sash uses natural materials and non-machinery tools for the traditional painter: glasses, pillows, dried grass. The hordes are also prepared in a special way: the artist soils them with natural compositions and, in some cases, complements them with a handmade bachrome — and then they are like an old home tablecloth, a cape, a blanket, or a rug,» by Daria Pyrkina, an art candidate, a curator, a researcher.
