
Визуальное исследование посвящено эволюции свадебного платья и его роли в культуре и моде. Через исторические примеры и знаковые дизайнерские коллекции рассматривается, как свадебный наряд превратился из символа традиции в инструмент художественного высказывания.

Концепция

Книга исследует свадебное платье как культурный код через историю его формирования и случаи переосмысления в современной моде.Каждая глава посвящена определённому способу трансформации свадебного образа: изменению гендерной роли, деконструкции костюма, обращению к трауру, переосмыслению женственности и разрушению традиционных представлений о красоте.
Визуальная концепция строится на пересечении модного журнала и исследовательского издания.
Главная идея книги — показать, что традиция не является неизменной: каждый новый жест способен пересобрать знакомый образ и предложить ему другое прочтение.
Гипотеза
Белое свадебное платье воспринимается как устойчивая традиция, хотя его современный облик сформировался под влиянием социальных норм, религии, моды и медиа. Его узнаваемость обеспечивается набором визуальных кодов: цветом, силуэтом, фатой, материалами и церемониальным контекстом.
Гипотеза исследования заключается в том, что свадебное платье не просто отражает культурные нормы, но и способно становиться инструментом их переосмысления. Изменяя привычные элементы свадебного костюма, дизайнеры ставят под вопрос представления о гендере, телесности, красоте, ритуале и самой роли невесты.
Таким образом, свадебное платье можно рассматривать как визуальный язык, значения которого не закреплены окончательно и меняются вместе с культурой.
