Brief: A one-minute animated short exploring the eternal theme of relationshipsand individuality, and how love can inspire people to change, with remind of the importance of accepting each other.Solution: The story told through cute, memorable characters and visual storytelling, using humor and emotional contrast to explore the balance between intimacy and individuality. The transformation of the characters into one identical creature serves as a metaphor for losing oneself in a relationship.Completion time: 4 months

Short animated film 'I am CARshing'

Brief: A one-minute documentary animated film inspired by the personal experience of learning to drive a manual-transmission car.Solution: The film combines personal footage, photographs of the author, animated toy cars, and object animation using stop-motion techniques. A collage aesthetic, enhanced with paper textures and magazine elements, creates a playful, game-inspired visual style that transforms a real-life challenge into a humorous and visually expressive story.Completion time: 3.5 months

Music video 'Phase zero'

Brief: A three-minute animated music video for the band «Nezhnoye Eto», created for the song «Phase Zero». Although the song initially seems simple and playful, the film develops into an unusual story about attraction, transformation, alienation, and the desire to return to one’s loved ones.Solution: The animation combines surreal imagery, expressive character movement, and a carefully developed color palette to reflect the composition’s mood. Rather than illustrating the lyrics directly, the video offers an original narrative that complements the music’s atmosphere.Completion time: 4 months

Short animated film 'Soft-paw. The Zooschool'

Brief: A two-minute animated promotional video created for the «Softpaw» ZooSchool, an educational center where children and teenagers learn how to care for animals and interact with them responsibly.Solution: The animation follows a boy on his first visit to the ZooSchool, introducing viewers to its different learning areas, including animal psychology, pet care, veterinary medicine, and volunteering. Through friendly characters, attractive visual and adorable cats, this animation presents the school as a welcoming place to discover new skills and develop a deeper understanding of animals.Completion time: 2 months

Short animated film 'Life under cover'

Brief: A four-minute animated film created by a team of three, exploring love, conflict, and the desire for freedom through absurdist humor and metaphor. The story follows a cucumber and a tomato who fall in love but find their relationship challenged by the cramped conditions of a jar.Solution: The film combines expressive animation and visual metaphors to explore the tension between intimacy and confinement. As part of the team, I contributed to all stages of production, from plot development, character concept art, storyboarding, and animatics to rough animation, line art, and coloring the final animation.Completion time: 4 months
