Kaliningrad Oblast

The Kaliningrad Oblast is Russia’s westernmost, «glacial,» and «amber» territory—a place where complex topography, mixed forests, and Prussian-European heritage create an environment where even a crafted career is perceived as part of a vast cultural and natural landscape.

Svetlograd

In a quiet forest between the Primorsky Ring and the Baltic Sea coast, something extraordinary may soon rise. On 62 hectares of the former Olshansky sand quarry, just minutes from Svetlogorsk, the developer «Russian Europe"—the company «AvangardInvestProject"—plans to build the resort city «Svetlograd.» The project already sounds like a manifesto for a new philosophy of life: comfort, aesthetics, lake, forest, and no fuss. Only architecture, sun, the scent of pines, and the soft air of the Baltic.
Svetlograd is being developed on the site of the former Olshansky sand quarry, covering an area of 62 hectares. The quarry is slated to be flooded, transforming it into an artificial lake with a depth of 5.5 meters. This lake will serve as the compositional and recreational centerpiece of the entire development, around which life will unfold. The plot is surrounded on all sides by ancient hornbeam forests featuring natural ponds.
