Kintsugi is the Japanese art of joining broken pieces with gold, transforming cracks into ornamentation. Little feet beside shattered porcelain—this image evokes the fragility with which we enter the world. The gold and the kanji characters for «kintsugi» on the skin resemble a promise: every step will leave a trace, and every crack will become part of a story. This project explores fragility as a source of beauty and brilliance.
