A short animated story about curious puppy that stumbles upon a tricky seagull

The main focus of this project was on creating a complete story that could tell itself through it’s own visual narrative like an illustrated book story come to life.

We explore the new and welcoming world together with the main character, seeing everything through his childish naivety and curiosity, facing his first mistakes and life lessons.

A country girl dreams of encountering paranormal phenomena, until one day she runs into a charming extraterrestrial.

The task for that project was to create a special visual language that can bring this peculiar love story from artist’s imagination right to the screen.

As a result I’ve combined an anime-like character design favoured by the music artist, alien color palette and traditional slavic countryside background.

The brief was to design a circus themed character and make a shot puppet animation with it.

To stick to the task I’ve tried to make the character that would look athletic and comically clumsy at the same time.

The task was to create a goofy sketch animation for a local restaurant showing how professional cooks can make chaos and harmony coexist on the same kitchen.

As a solution I’ve created a gif animation of the simultanious actions of different characters happening on one screne.
