The Tsvetnik School of Contemporary Art was founded in 2023 and is an educational initiative of the project founders TZVETNIK, which is focused on exhibiting, researching, and promoting the newest trends in contemporary art.
Our mission is to provide comprehensive training for a new generation of professional artists who understand how the contemporary art system operates, are prepared to integrate into it, and can subsequently develop independently. Our goal is to cultivate creative thinking, artistic vision, and the ability to approach various problems in unconventional ways among our students.
The School’s educational programs are oriented toward acquiring both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. A significant portion of the learning process is dedicated to completing hands-on assignments and subsequent discussions.
We strive to place a high value on the quality and volume of feedback students receive from their peers, believing that safe communication and constructive discussion are among the most vital elements of successful learning.
Throughout the academic year, the School hosts student exhibitions to help students gain experience in organizing and participating in exhibition projects.
The School’s faculty comprises working artists and curators deeply embedded in the current art world, possessing experience teaching within modern art institutions. In class, students have the opportunity to exchange opinions and experiences, ask compelling questions, and gradually build their own working strategy.
