Art history, but make it pocket-sized.

A series of three illustrated bank card designs inspired by famous artworks and artists, including Leonardo da Vinci, René Magritte, Vincent van Gogh and others.
THE CHALLENGE
The goal was to reinterpret recognizable references from art history in a contemporary way that would work within the small format of a bank card. There’s also a happy hippo design as a bonus for those who don’t like classic art.

THE APPROACH
I transformed familiar artistic references into stylised illustrations, using simplified shapes, expressive characters, and my own visual language. The challenge was to preserve the spirit of each reference while making every design feel playful and original. You can view the entire project here.
