Look closer | Portfolio
Illustration, comics, visual storytelling
Fact, Feeling and Fiction.
Research, observation and imagination are not separate worlds in my work. They overlap — and that is where the image begins. The visual world
Different subjects, one way of seeing.
Every project in my portfolio begins with a question: what is it that I want to show, and why does it matter?
My works may explore different subjects — nature, science, people, or imagined worlds — but they are connected by the same intention: to look closer, find meaning, and turn that discovery into an image. For me, illustration is not only about how something looks. It is a way of thinking, observing and asking questions. Each project is an attempt to find the right visual language for an idea, a feeling, or a story that wants to be seen.
My work is connected not by one style, but by a way of seeing.
The way i work.
I start with attention. A detail, a question, a strange fact, a gesture. Then I look for the image that can hold it.Not every image starts with a clear answer. Sometimes the question is the structure.
Nature. Curiosity. People. Strange encounters.

Trees know, In search of a swallow, Please, Science
Four projects, one recurring interest: looking at familiar things from an unfamiliar angle.
What if nature was watching us?
A graphic series about contemplation in gardens, told from above — through the eyes of trees.

A quiet shift in perspective.
Plants are not decoration here. They are characters, witnesses and a way of seeing.

THE SHIFT

The landscape carries the story as much as the character does.

Can an artwork look back at you?
A large-format illustration about people trying to get closer to artworks.

What happens when people want to get closer to an artwork and when the artwork seems to notice them back? A watercolour world somewhere between human and statue.

THE TENSION
Viewer & artwork. Human & object. Reality & imagination.Make the method feel alive.

Information becomes easier to enter when it has rhythm, characters and a visual world.

THE BALANCE
Information + character + visual rhythmWHO IS THIS FOR?
I want to work with people who have something worth showing.Editorial projects, cultural institutions, publishers, scientists, artists and creative teams — especially those looking for a visual language that can make an idea more curious, human and aliveI am interested in collaborations where there is something to explore, not just something to illustrate. If the brief has a question, I can help turn it into a visual world. Together, we can give the idea a world of its own.
