Motion as part of visual identity
I’m Liza Shvetsova,
an independent motion designer working with 2D animation, typography and visual identity. I bring graphics, type and movement together to express the character of a project across different formats.
I’m interested in projects with brands and independent creators — from animated identities and promotional films to explainers and visual experiments.
How i work
I start with the project’s idea and communication goals, develop a visual direction, then explore how typography, shapes and rhythm can bring it to life through motion.

From visual language to movement
I approach motion as part of a project’s identity. Typography, shape and rhythm work together to express its character, connecting individual animated pieces to a broader visual language.
The following project, TANGENT, explores this approach through a visual identity and a motion intro.
TANGENT is a concept for an interactive podcast platform that explores a more participatory listening experience.
Its idea is to give listeners an active role in engaging with audio content.
TANGENT is a self-initiated concept for an interactive podcast project.
It is about an interactive podcast platform that explores a more participatory listening experience. Its idea is to give listeners an active role in engaging with audio content.
For this project I developed the visual identity and logo, created logo and loading screen animations, produced a promotional motion intro, and designed branded merchandise.
The challenge
The design task was to give an interactive podcast concept a recognisable visual character and carry it into motion. The identity and the intro needed to feel like parts of the same project.
