Juan Gris is a Spanish painter who went beyond Picasso and Braque. He created synthetic Cubism. His approach can be called constructive: he didn’t just «break» form, but rebuilt it like an architect, using pure geometric shapes and rich colors.
Gris always left «breathing room» between elements, allowing the viewer’s eye to complete the image. Following this statement and the visual research I conducted, the idea for my object emerged. I took the geometry and the play of light and shadow from Juan Gris’s paintings as the foundation for my art object. I decided that my art object would not be confined to rectangular walls, but would continue into a play of light with crystal.

The art object will be placed in a park, in an open area. This is a crucial element in understanding my work, as light and the open setting play a key role and interact with it directly.
